Renaming a Company used by Anveo in Dynamics (Anveo Legacy)

The Anveo Delta Server is based on SQL Stored Procedures. These need to be recreated when renaming a company since they contain the company name as ID.

If you decide to rename a company please perform the following steps:

  • ensure all data changes from the mobile devices have been synched
  • deactivate all synchronization packages
  • deinstall delta server (follow description of uninstallation of Anveo Delta Server here)
  • rename the company
  • reinstall delta server (from the Anveo setup)
  • reactivate all synchronization packages
  • delete all mobile devices

A new initialization of all mobile devices will be required after renaming the company.
