Dynamics shows message “.NET interoperability type cannot be used in C/SIDE Classic code”

Symptom

On user replication, Microsoft Dynamics shows error message “The .NET interop type cannot be used in code for the Classic CSide runtime” using Anveo Client Suite 4.14 or newer in Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 R2.

Cause

Beginning with Anveo Client Suite version 4.14, Anveo uses data type DotNet only for calling web services to optimize performance.

Solution

Therefore, Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 R2 must activate checkbox “Use NAV Web Service” in “Anveo Setup”.
