Standard Data Item Link between EDI Document and other tables
When you set up a data item link between two tables in your mapping I’d consider it very common that you select the appropriate fields manually. If you want to link one of our Anveo EDI buffer tables with the table EDI Document, there’s a shortcut to entering it correctly.
If the table “EDI Document” ist the first table beginning with the letter “e” that you inserted into your mapping , you can type in the property field of the data item link:
“1=e.1,2=e.2,3=e.3” without the quotation marks. Upon pressing “Enter” directly afterwards, our module will automatically convert the numbers to the table fields and the “e” to “EDI Document 1” and the whole data item link should look like this:
“Document Type”=”EDI Document 1″.”Document Type”, “Document No.”=”EDI Document 1″.”No.”, “Document Version No.”=”EDI Document 1″.”Version No.”
This is working because the first three fields of the Anveo EDI buffer tables are the same and as long as the EDI Document is the first table inserted into the mapping beginning with an “e”, the module will take this table and use it for the data item link.
